Programming Theme

Our March Meetup generated some great ideas for upcoming topics. Since the June meetup will be held in a software factory, we thought it would be fitting to have the theme be “programming”. We’re applying some creative license to the interpretation of this theme, so you could see presentations or show-and-tells on anything from programming beats and melodies (sequencing) to DSP (Digital Signal Processing). Details will come soon, stay tuned! Comment below if you have other future topic suggestions, or ideas for presentations (including your own presentation or show-and-tell!).

NCMC at AADL Mini Moog Fest – November 18, 2017

Ann Arbor arguably has the best library system in the world. Not only can you check out synthesizers, but they put on a great festival of electronic music each year, called Mini Moog Fest. It featured performances, presentations, and hands-on stations where participants could learn to solder, play with synthesizers, and learn more about electronic music.

This year, North Coast Modular Collective got to participate with a talk and performances by Joe Bauer, Bill Van Loo, and Dan Blades.

Check out videos of the performances at the North Coast Modular Collective YouTube channel.
